Biography
Mila Kunis was born Milena Markovna Kunis on August 14th 1983 in Kiev, Ukraine whilst Ukraine remained part of the Soviet Union.
At the age of 7, she moved to the US with her parents Mark and Elvira, hoping that Los Angeles would offer a safer environment for children to grow up.
Both Mila and her brother had to learn English rapidly when they reached the states, although it was not long before Mila had become capable enough to start acting classes in the Beverly Hills Studio. It was here that entertainment manager Susan Curtis spotted the young talent and offered to take her on. Soon after Mila made her television debut on a Payless ShoeSource advert and an episode of the daytime soap opera, “Days Of Our Lives”.
Over the next seven years, Mila appeared in several TV shows and movies, as well as being the face of a Guess? Clothing advertising campaign.
In 1998 Mila got her big break when she was cast in the movie “Gia” and finally became an established entertainment figure on the big screen as well as television. Later that year she equivocated about her age to land a part in “The 70s Show” as the character Jackie Burkhart.
Mila has gone on to act in further feature length films such as “American Psycho 2″ and “After Sex”. However, she is probably most famous as the voice of Meg Griffin on Fox’s animated comedy series, “Family Guy”.
